Ian's parents are not ready to see his memorial but his cousin and aunt come to see him it's been

Ian Alden Wells of Wethersfield, Connecticut, died suddenly on Monday
August 18, 2008. He was the beloved youngest son of Stephen and Sheila(Santhouse)Wells of
Wethersfield and the adored little brother of Celeste Wells and Owen Zimmerman, Annalee Wells and
Jen Cronsell, and John Wells.
In addition to his parents and siblings, Ian is survived by his nephews, Alden and Elias, who adored
him and by his grandparents, Joan and Val Santhouse, as well as a large and loving extended family
and many good friends who will miss him greatly.
Ian was a member of the Wethersfield Skate Park start-up committee and was an avid skateboarder and
snowboarder. He was a lifeguard and counselor at Camp Asto Wamah in Columbia. Ian was a talented
musician,
playing mandolin, banjo, guitar, bass, violin and harmonica and enjoyed jamming with his friends. He
was also a member of the Col. John Chester Fife & Drum Corps for many years. Ian endeavored to do
his best for his coaches and teammates on the Wethersfield wrestling team. He looked forward to a
future filled with the adventure he sought. Ian will be remembered for his wicked sense of humor,
his love of the world, his love of the outdoors, his creativity, his diverse interests and good
converstation. He loved his family, was a loyal friend and loved his animals, especially his cat
Julio.
